Mothers Day Weekend, May 9th and 10th, 2009 is RiverWalk Crossings' 8th Art Walk.

 

Welcome to all those that are involved and want to come and celebrate an enjoyable weekend with us. Let's have fun.

Please note by the flyer how the show has taken shape. Enjoy the Wine Garden yourself by inviting your families. The children’s play area will be great .
 

Please pass the information on to your friends and family and neighbors.

Also we ask you to all agree on the Success of the weekend for all the vendors.
 
We thank you for participating. We have worked hard to give you a place to share what you do.  We do need your help to get more of the word out by telling everyone you know.  I am still sending out emails and handing out flyers and I do ask you to do the same.  We have no paid advertising this year but quite a bit of personal relations that started in January. The applications and the checks and vendors did not come in time to pay for advertising.  So please send everyone you know an email and pass the information on.  A reminder this week will help as they see us on TV or finally want to get out of the house when the rains stops.  Your contacts can be someone else’s customers and vice versa.
 
This show constitutes about 400 hours of work, including many hours of public relations, We want everyone to have a happy and profitable day.
 
  • Believe and Declare with us CALM, CLEAR, COMFORTABLE, CROWDED AND SUCCESSFUL. If you think that is hokey, just remember you have nothing to lose but all to gain. Start speaking it NOW.
  • We ask you to come on Saturday morning to set up with a smile :-) on your face and in your heart. For those that can agree with me Deutoromy 28: 8 is our Scripture. Let's have fun.
  • Setup starts at 7:00 AM in front of Kaffe Bono, which is next to Gina and Giuseppe’s, which is behind the Water Fall in the Parking lot.
  • You must sign in and make sure you are setting up at the right place and get a wrist band. Kaffe Bono will have coffee made and we will have donuts to help your smile.
  • We must be set up by 9:30 Saturday.
  • RiverWalk made a mistake for the times on Sunday so you can set up early if you want to go along with their banner or be set up by 11 AM (on Sunday).
  • Do not drive on the patio for any reason
  • Those that are setting up on the grass area you enter at Los Cabos on the bike path and please keep on the paved area. Stop and quickly unload and take your car to the end and park until all are set up and then leave out the same way. Smile, it is better than walking. It does get somewhat congested but there is no other way.
  • Your wrist bands will get you in the restaurants and some stores for the bathrooms.
  • We will be around to relieve you so you can use the rest rooms.
  • If you need help unloading there are people to help you...look for the wrist bands. They will have two on.  Please park your cars in the back of the movie house after set up. We want the customers to get to us faster.  :-)
  • You can bring lights and stay and don’t forget extension cords if you need electric. Sometimes you need very long ones so bring both sizes. RiverWalk promises me all their sockets work. (They have promised this before so bring the cords.  :-)
  • For those of you that have been told there are no tents on the patio we offer this explanation:

    Wineries and some food vendors must use tents. At the North End of RiverWalk has allowed tents this year.  If you need an explanation please ask me and I will explain.
     

  • The art cars can come at 8:45 because they don’t have much time to set up.
 
For those coming in from out of town, you can find the RiverWalk Crossing on the west bank of the Arkansas River on the north side of the 96th street bridge.   You can find directions from your location on an interactive map on Google Maps, Microsoft Live Search Maps, or Yahoo Maps.  Or, if you have map making software, just search for Riverwalk Terrace, Jenks, OK.
